Description:

What is an APC? Altered Playing Card.... 1.Using a POKER sized playing card, sand the glossy finish off the card leaving one corner with the suit and number of the card. 2. Decorate your card using paints, markers, collage.....whatever medium you want. 3. Cards must be ATC sized (2 1/2" X 3 1/2"). Poker cards are the correct size. Other cards may not be wide enough. If in doubt, measure it!

For this swap you will make 2 APC's for your partner using the Ace of Hearts and the Ace of Diamonds. The theme will be Senders Choice but please see your partner's profile so you don't send something on their dislike list. Send something you'd like to receive and be proud to put your name on.

Put your swapbot ID on the back of the card so your partner can rate you.

I will angel this swap after you have tried communicating with your partner and after you have rated them with a "1"

You must have a 4.98 rating with no unresolved 1's or 3's. Newbies welcome with a completed profile and at least 1 completed swap.

Are you going to go through the whole deck? If so massage me every time you post.

Beckster 11/17/2014 #

Yes I am planning to. I'll try to remember to message. I will be listing them every few weeks.

Why do you sand the card first?

Blewfroglets 12/ 3/2014 #

Anyone?

Beckster 12/ 6/2014 #

You sand the card to get rid of the glossy finish. Otherwise your art may fall off of it.

Would putting on some gesso primer work? I just don't have any sandpaper.

Beckster 12/ 7/2014 #

I've done that with some cards but I think I sanded them first.... You could try it.

Ok I have a finger nail file (cheap lol) I'll try! ;)
