I'm hosting this 2nd round because "the other part of my mind had a weak moment when I went to a scrapbook convention this past weekend." LOL!
Ok, so I'm struggling with my mind at the moment. Part of it says, "buy more washi tape," and the other says, "you don't need to buy anymore; you have A TON, so why don't you save a little money and share and swap samples instead!" LOL! Do you have these struggles too? If so, let's band together and "share our washi!" Fine details:
NOTE: All washi tape is NOT created equal. รขโฌลReal washi tapeรขโฌย is pliable and flexible, is easily ripped with your fingers, and has a clean edge. It makes almost no sound when peeled from the roll. รขโฌลCheaper washi tapeรขโฌย (e.g., here in the USA at Dollar Stores or craft stores in the $1.00 bins) is stiff and has a papery white edge when ripped. When you peel it, you can hear a stiff peeling sound. A lot of times, this cheaper tape won't re-peel after you've wrapped it on a playing card and therefore, renders it useless for the recipient. It also leaves a hard edge indentation from being wrapped on cards. The icon for the swap are stacks of my newest tapes. :) |
