Creative Writing Challenge #1-Scent Memories

Once a month I thought it would be fun to do themed creative writing challenges.Some will be inspired by books & poetry, others will challenge your own imagination.

For this 1st Creative Writing Challenge:

There is a list below of 10 Random Words, that when read, invoke certain scent memories or feelings. Whatever you think of when you first read each word tell your partner about it in a pm or email. Write two or more sentences per listed word.

For Example: Maybe when you read the word "cinnamon" it makes you think of baking cookies during the holidays. Or maybe the words "newly sharpened pencils" cause you to recall getting ready for the first day of a new school year as a kid.

1st word: Coffee Brewing or Bacon Frying

2nd word: Old Books

3rd word: Cut Grass

4th word: Biting into a Juicy Peach

5th word: Rose Petals

6th word: The Outdoors after its Rained

7th word: Cinnamon or Nutmeg

8th Word: A New Car

9th word: Newly Sharpened Pencils or Pencil Erasers

10th word: Sunscreen Lotion
