Swap Info:

Looking to try a book in a new-to-you genre? Or looking for an excuse to read a book off your Mt. To Be Read? Every month, we'll explore a different genre by reading a single book and sharing our thoughts with our partner. July's genre is poetry. Whether you're new to the scene or just using this swap to read one you've had your eye on for a long time, this is the swap for you.

Genre Definition:

(Wikipedia) Poetry is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and rhythmic qualities of languageรขโ‚ฌโ€such as phonaesthetics, sound symbolism, and metreรขโ‚ฌโ€to evoke meanings in addition to, or in place of, the prosaic ostensible meaning.

Are children poetry books allowed?

Are books in other languages than English allowed?

KateKintail 06/25/2015 #

Yes to both! Any kind of poetry counts.

Your emails to your partners about the book you read should be in a language they can read, but that's the only language restriction.
