Description: | |
There have been some swaps where you send something to your partner's loved one who is curious or jealous about swapping and sending and receiving stuff from people they don't know. Often these partners are mentioned as "husbands" or "boyfriends", as people tend to think most swappers here are heterosexual women. This swap is different from those: you, as well as your partner, can be women, men, anything in between or none of the previous. It's enough if you're human and consider each other partners. You can be married or not, live together or in separate addresses, whatever, if you just feel you belong together. In this swap you are to send 3-5 items to your swap partner's partner. To know what to send, each participant must list a few of their spouse's fields of interest in the swap comments. You can list general interests, like "anything sailing themed" or "sweets", and more detailed interests, like "World of Warcraft" or "Skittles", favourite colours, and whatever you think your spouse would like and what would make it easier for your swap partner to choose things to send. The budget should be something like 7€ / £6 excluding postage but it's more about sending something that would make the recipient happy. Make it useful. The spouses aren't necessarily craft people or know stuff that are elementary to us, so they e.g. might not know what an ATC is or have any use for them. Think outside the craft box, so to say :-) Handmade items are welcome though if it's something that otherwise fits. If you think it matters, you may mention if your partner is male or female, but you don't need to. Let's not mention people's names here or list separate addresses in the comments. After all, it's about people who haven't knowingly listed their names and addresses here. You send the stuff to your swap partner and they give them on to their spouses. Just add the name of this swap on the envelope so they know which swap this is for. Add a note to your partner's partner where you tell what this swap is about. To participate, you need to have done at least five Type 3 swaps. No unexplained or recent 3 or 1 ratings, contact me if you have something to explain. Although this isn't about you, please have a well filled profile so I know you are serious about swapping. |
