Description:

I've seen scavenger hunts on swap-bot and I love the concept. It's how I teach creativity to my upper level art students. I give the project parameters and how you solve that "problem" is the art.

For this piece, you will create an artwork with the following images in it. You may use multiples of these to create your image, but each must be used. You cannot duplicate the use of an element, each must be used separately to count.

building

fish

orange - the color or fruit

key

The swap image is the piece I have created. You may create yours with collage, drawing, digital images - the media is open. The choice of ATC or PC is also open.

This is a sender's choice challenge - so when you sign up, go ahead and make your image. :) As people sign up, I will be checking for recent 1s and 3s. I reserve the right to remove anyone.

I'm doing a series of these for school and I will list a new one as each is completed.

OK - I had a question asked, so I will clarify. :)

If you want to use an orange fish, it doesn't count as orange and a fish. You'd need to use orange or a fish elsewhere. I turned EVERYTHING orange to unify my composition.

I really like this one, which is funny - since I HATE orange. That's why I picked it to be used, to move outside my comfort zone. The objects are designed NOT to work together, the art is making them become cohesive. That's what I tell my students - I give you the problem and how you solve it is the art. :D
