Description:

I just purchased a giant mason jar, about a one gallon size, that has the beautiful glass lid with the metal latch. I put some really cute whimsical items in it but I just don't have enough to make an impact on the look of the jar. For this swap, you will send your partner five (5) different whimsical items. They can be anything that takes your fancy and you would like to share. You can send five buttons but they only count as one item. Each item must be different.

Here are some things that I have in my jar for an example; I have a worry doll, a hand carved tiny finial, bottle cap top, a 1” snap with back, a paper chicken that shot out exploding eggs at 4th of July, a poker chip, a plastic sword from a drink, and many other little things that are fun to look at and fit inside of the jar. The definition of whimsy is; anything that is odd or fanciful or playful and of a capricious fancy. If your objects are not flat and won’t fit inside of an envelope, then use half of a paper towel tube. Tape up the end. I believe it takes 2 or 3 stamps to mail a small tube. (If you decide to use a toilet paper tube, please line it with paper for obvious reasons…) If you don’t know If something is whimsical, please feel free to contact me and ask, but I assure you, if it brings a smile to your face, it will probably be a great object in the jar! These objects can be handmade or store bought, vintage or new, but must be clean and worth keeping in a jar. I don’t want to have to angel so please, no flakers.

Here are the necessities. 4.9 Rating or higher. No 1’s or 3’s in the past six months. I reserve the right to ban anyone who looks like they will not be a good swapper. Newbies are welcome with a well filled out profile. Can’t wait to see what I get!
