Description:

A little bit about pocket letters from their creator:

"Pocket Letters were created by a papercraft & lifestyle blogger, Janette Lane, as an innovative way to send letters to new or existing penpals. The concept is simple and convenient. Each section of a pocket page protector sleeve is filled with different components of a creative penpal letter... once the pockets are filled, the whole page is "folded up" and mailed. The best part?
All your letters are easily stored in a regular binder! For more information please visit: janettelane.blogspot.com"

This swap is for a pocket letter designed by you especially for your partner using her or his profile as inspiration. The pocket letter can be profile-based in its decorative theme or color scheme as well as in the goodies you choose to place in the pockets for your partner. It's really the thought that counts in this one. I'm hoping that our members will enjoy this and I will be happy to host more profile-based pocket letter swaps if I get a positive response!

All group members maintain well-filled-out profiles and meet the requirement of at least a 4.98 rating to join. In the unlikely event that it's necessary, I will angel this swap after you have attempted to contact your partner and honestly rated a "1" for a no-send.

Here are the rules:

As with all of our swaps:

Γ’β„’Β₯ Read through your partner's complete profile; don't just latch on to the first idea you see, or you could miss out on something important (loves sweets but allergic to milk?--best to save the milk chocolate caramels for someone who can enjoy them), or an exciting idea that you'll enjoy even more. Always try to send your swap partners things related to their interests that will make them smile :)

Γ’β„’Β₯Be certain to check for your partner's dislikes and avoid sending them, so you don't unintentionally spoil what would otherwise be an absolute delight

You will send your partner one 9-pocket pocket letter. The cards/papers you include in the pockets should be delightfully decorated in a theme or themes inspired by your partner's profile. This is a type-3 swap because of its time-intensive creative nature. Please take care to craft something of a quality you would like to receive. Try to make your partner something that will be nice to keep in a binder even after the goodies are taken out.

In order to receive a 5, your pocket letter should meet the criteria of being related to your partner's profile interests and be thoughtfully put together, including a letter from you in one of the pockets (remember to mention this group name, swap name, and your user name) and little profile-inspired surprises in the other pockets.

Please rate anyone a 5 as long as they meet these criteria. Hearts are of course at your own discretion.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Have fun swapping! Γ’β„’Β₯

p.s. The image above is my own: a simple pocket letter I sent to someone who loved flowers and flower gardening and washi tape, among other things (goodies tucked in back include seeds and vintage labels/tags and tea based on her profile). You should design in whatever way appeals to you!
