When I wrap presents I end up with tons of little pieces of wrapping paper that are too small to wrap anything with. This year let’s use some of those pieces to make our postcards.

For this swap you will add some wrapping paper to your handmade postcard. Think backgrounds, pictures from the paper, etc.

  • The paper does not have to be Christmas themed.

  • You can use any media that you prefer.

  • Your postcard should be a minimum of 4 X 6 but can be larger. Larger may require additional postage.

  • Postcards should be sent stamped and naked.

  • Be sure to include the name of the swap on the back of your postcard.

Here, some shops have 'wrapping-tables', where you can wrap the gifts you bought in the shop. Most of the time, they don't mind if you take a piece of the paper :-)

Wow, that is really neat - I have never seen or heard of anything like that over here! Some stores will gift wrap for no charge but most places, if they offer a gift wrapping service at all, either charge for it or ask for a donation for charity.

What a cool idea! I have tons of scraps from my 1940's wrapping paper collection that I just couldn't part with. I knew they would come in handy for something!

Must it be christmas wrapping papers, or can it be any wrapping papers?
