Description:

Hello Everyone,

This is my first time hosting a swap for our group and I hope to make this a monthly occurrence.

For this swap we will decorate an envelope with anything that represents the New Year. Think gold, silver, glitter, blue, party, clocks, etc. You can use anything to decorate (collage, paint, draw, stickers, washi tape, etc) and try to cover 90% of the envelope.

Send your partner 3 flat goodies. One item needs to be something that has to do with the New Year (quote, calendar, etc) and the other two items are sender's choice, but it's always nice and encouraged to look at your partner's profile. Some ideas include:

washi tape samples (Three 12 inches long=1)

sticky notes (5=1)

scrapbook paper

stickers (10=1)

postcards/notecards with envies

ephemera

recipes

tea (factory sealed only please)

The list is endless.

Include a note about how you celebrate the New Year's Eve/Day and if you're looking forward to anything in particular happening..Don't forget to add the name of the swap and your user name.

So all in all you will be sending: a decorated envelope, 3 flat goodies and a note.

If there are any questions or suggestions please comment or PM me.

Coming up:

January - Valentine's Day

February - Easter

March - Rainy Day (April Showers)

If anyone has some suggestions for future mail art themes just let me know.

Happy 2016 Everyone! :)
