Dotee Doll - March - USA

Next up - March Dotee Doll. Loved making the first two months and since we seem to have a good crowd making these, ie, no problems with any of the send outs.

Same as last time. One partner, one dotee; the theme is March inspiration. Choose either a regular holiday, St Patty's day (for whoever gets me: that is my birthday. hint hint) of course, or a weird and wacky holiday. Go to: http://www.holidayinsights.com/moreholidays/march.htm to check some out!

There are a lot of good wacky holidays to choose from this month, eg: Panic Day, Something on a Stick Day, Johnny Appleseed Day,Girl Scout Day, Jewel Day and many more.

General rules for a Dotee Doll:

They have a circular face that can be drawn with markers, embroidered or even painted (clay faces are great too!). They are a stuffed doll and usually have a hanger made out of ribbon or beads, and a beaded tail (Usually no arms or legs, but you can add if you want) The stuffed doll is embellished with beads, ribbon, sequins, yarn...just about anything, This style of doll is based on the work of a blogger called Dot and has become popular amongst the SwapBot community where many crafters join to swap dotee inspired dolls.

And as for the icky stuff... I angel all swaps I host. If there is a flaker amongst the group, I will create a voodoo doll in their likeness...
