Description:

Make TWO 12,5x12,5" (unfinished) 16 patch blocks for your partner. 100% cotton good quality fabric

The blocks should be made using the tutorial by Poppy Makes http://poppymakes.blogspot.com.au/search?q=16+patch+block

If you follow her tutorial you will end up with some very nice blocks to swap! Otherwise you'll end with blocks that are not usable!

Use a dark and a light fabric, it doesn't mean it has to be black and white but you should get a distinct difference in the two colors.

Please make two different blocks :-)

You can start sewing right away! You do not need to wait until partners are assigned!

as always IF you are interested in having more partners OR want to increase the swap to twice a month please let me know as I'd be happy to do this!

When using a 6X9 envelope postage can be kept low, even when mailing internationally. The blocks just need to kept as flat as can be and just a small note inside helps to keep the postage down. Any thickness in the envelope increases the cost.

I am in a busy phase at work -- had to cut back on swaps. But I will be back!

How's your quilt coming, @Gixxychic

@Coriander - I have more blocks that I need so the quilt is getting bigger! I'm almost ready to pass the torch on this swap!
