Description:

No matter what you call them they are the same thing and crazy easy to make. The first pair took maybe 30 minutes and the second took 15 max which includes cutting time.

For this swap you will send your partner one pair of handmade leg warmers. The leg warmers I'm talking about are made out of women's tall colorful socks (under $2 at WalMart) and are used on children up to about 7 years old. These are great to put on both boys and girls when they are learning to crawl. I keep a pair in my diaper bag so if it's a little to chilly I can slip them on my daughter. An older girl can wear them with a dress in the morning then take them off when it warms up in the afternoon. Here's the quick, easy pattern I found for the leg warmers. If you look on Etsy the women are using the same technique.

If you would like to join, but can't sew no problem! Etsy offers a large selection of leg warmers you can purchase for the swap. Some even offer free shipping.

If you have a boy please comment below so you aren't sent pink crawler covers. =)

Newbies welcome with a well filled out profile. Everyone else must have a well filled out profile too and a 4.8 or better with no "no sends" in the last three months.

Hi I am interested but cannot work out how to see the tutorial in slide show. I keep seeing a grey line sliding across the page and that is it. ??? Michelle

@toffle I'm not sure why there's a grey line. When I made them for my daughter I clicked on each picture individually. With some pictures the comments really helped me. Once you really look at it and play with a pair of socks you will be surprised how easy it is. I used the same technique last night to put cuffs on the bottom of a new blanket sleeper last night. If can't see it, I could put the instructions (it’s not mine BTW) in a Word document and email them to you.
