Description:

I recently requested this in the MMH ATC tag and a couple of people voiced interest in exploring the technique again, so here it is.

This is a collage ATC with none of the sticky mess. You will gather a collection of interesting bits, arrange them on your ATC base and use one staple to attach the pieces to the base. You can read more about the technique here: one-staple collage.

Details

  • Create TWO one-staple collage ATCs for your ONE partner.
  • Use at least 5 different items when creating each ATC.
  • The items you use do not have to be all paper. This is a great technique for using things that are sometimes tricky to apply, e.g., bits of lace, fabric, plastic, rubber, wax paper, mesh.
  • When you are done, package your ATCs in their own trading card sleeves (or small envelopes) - this will help protect all the layers and bits while on their journey to your partner.

What if you don't have access to a stapler? If you don't have a stapler, good news! You can substitute a single brad or a stitch for a staple.

Swap image is the lovely one-staple collage ATC @oblivionspin made for me. I Γ’β„’Β₯ it.

Are there really people who don't own staplers? O.o

If you don't own a stapler you can rent one from a rent-a-center. They're like a nickel a week until you own it.
