Description: | |
This swap is for those of us that love to collect found things. What are found things? It could be a discarded grocery list, a really interesting wrapper, a stranger's to do list, a scrap of a letter, etc. If you're unsure I recommend going to foundmagazine.com and you'll get the idea. From their website: "We collect FOUND stuff: love letter, birthday cards, kidsΓ’β¬β’ homework, to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, receipts, doodles - anything that gives a glimpse into someone elseΓ’β¬β’s life. Anything goes..." For this swap you'll make an 8"x 11" collage of some found things you have. I'm leaving a big send window so you have time to find more things. Keep your eyes to the ground! If your items don't perfectly fill up the whole space, get creative and write about where you found them. Your items should truly be found things, not something you clipped out of a magazine. You can use things like the free postcards they have in store windows, or a piece of a menu that's been stapled to your pizza receipt but try to be creative! Items that are available to the public should be kept to a minimum, the main part of the collage should be scraps that are unique. That said please only comprise your swap of clean things. If you find a really interesting note on the ground but it is dirty, maybe make a photocopy of it so you can use it :) Also you don't have to paste things onto a sheet of paper, especially if the found item is two sided. You can tape them together or use a plastic sheet protector so your partner can see both sides. YOU MUST HAVE DONE AT LEAST 3 TYPE 3 SWAPS WITH A 5 RATING. I'll check profiles. If you have a 3 rating without a good excuse left by an active swapper, you might be ineligible for this swap. My intention is not to exclude anyone but this kind of swap can't just be whipped up so angeling will be hard this we want good standing swappers. |
