This Locket is so YOU!

Lockets are making a comeback in jewelry making & here is your chance to explore this classic medium. For this swap you'll purchase a new or gently used locket pendant and then customize it for your partner. This can be classic metal case or the new "floating locket" style. Other than the locket itself, the overall piece that you send must include at least 3 personalized components.

Lockets can contain pictures, shaped sequins, glitter, confetti, beads, paper cutouts/punches, charms, baubles, etc. Clear sided lockets can be painted or decorated. You do not need to include chain or cord; but that can be one of your 3 things. If using thin items like glitter/confetti, make sure the locket seals tight enough not to leak. Be sure to include a note with your package to let your partner know if the locket is meant to remain sealed, or if they can open it.

For example: *a photo locket with 2x pictures and a chain/cord

*clear-sided locket with a crystal in your partner's favorite color or birthstone, and 2 or more paper punches or charms that reflects their interests

*Clear locket painted by you with a chain/cord and a hidden surprise

*a clear locket containing seashells and blue glitter with a cord for a beach-lover

The item you send should be ready-to-wear, even if it's likely that your partner will want to swap out for their own pictures. No stock photos of people in lockets designed for pictures; please substitute those for pictures/clip art/drawings relevant to your partner's interests.
