Lucky Parcel

It’s been a long time since I was involved in a Lucky Parcel swap so I’ve decided to host one.

For this swap, you will make a list below of five different themes that you could create for your partner. The themes could be a simple as a “your (receiver) favourite colour” or “kitchen” or “cooking” or “traveling” but the sky’s the limit as to what ideas you want to create.

RULES:

1. When partners have been assigned the receiver reviews the sender’s list of 5 themes and chooses 2 that suit the best and let the sender know. (That way it’s still a bit of a surprise which one the sender sends as she sends only ONE theme.)

2. Each LP must contain a minimum of 4 different items related to the theme. Each of the 4 (or more) items must be individually wrapped in tissue or decorated paper or gift bag within the box or container that is being mailed. (Ideally the wrap should match the theme of the swap but that’s not a rule for this one as long as it looks nice.) Please review your partner’s profile to make this a personal high-quality gift.

3. Your LP needs to have a value of $10 minimum before shipping.

4. The LP can contain a combination of hand-made and store bought items, keeping the $ value in mind.

This is a rather expensive swap so I will be reviewing the participants VERY closely. If you have had a 1 or a 3 in the past year you will need to contact me with an explanation before joining. If you have any late swaps currently on your list of participating swaps you need to contact me with an explanation before joining. If you do not have a filled out profile you will not be allowed. If you have not been on swap-bot in the 3 days before assigning partners you will be removed from the swap. You also need to have participated in 20 Type 3 swaps.

I don’t mean to sound harsh in the standards to join but I take the job of hosting very seriously and I do NOT want anyone joining this swap that would send anything but the very best to her partner.
