Description:

It's August. It's hot. Let's try doing 30 minutes of exercise each day. This can be in one shot or multiple installments. It can be outside or inside. You could bike, walk, run, dance, Zumba, do yoga, pilates, barre, lift weights, play pickup games of softball, volleyball, etc. Just don't count sitting in front of the TV and sweating--at least do some stretches! ;)

Bonus: Invite a family or friend to join you.

Log each day's progress. What did you do? Did anyone join you? Were you able to stay engaged for 30 minutes?

Around the middle of the month (August 13-17th), send a Swap-Bot message to your partner and check in. How have the past couple weeks been? Are you finding thirty minutes each day? What changes might you need to implement these next two weeks to invest in your health?

At the end of the month, send your partner your tracking log and at least a few sentences about the swap experience. Also include a flat surprise such as a postcard, notecard, tea, etc. Check your partner's profile for ideas and avoid allergies, but this is sender's choice.

In sum:
1). Get movin'! Try for 30 minutes each day.
2). Track your progress.
3). Send a mid-month check-in to your partner via SB message.
4). Mail your log, reflections, and flat surprise at the end of the month.

Stay hydrated!

Hope we all enjoy this and come back next month! Let me know if you have any questions.

Looking Ahead
In September, we'll try something a little different, attempting 1,000 of something.
