3 Days, 3 Lists

Lots of people use "to-do" lists as a guide to a day's tasks--but this swap asks you to take an opposite approach and use lists at the end of the day as a means of record-keeping.

On 3 different days, take a moment to make a list about the day. It can be any kind of list: things done, places gone, people met, things seen, funny things laughed at, words read, songs heard, etc. You choose the subject(s) of your lists, and each day's list can be on the same subject or different ones; it's up to you!

It's also up to you how you choose to present your lists: hand-written in a notecard, typed and printed, annotated with explanations, illustrated with doodles--anything goes as long as you send it through the post. Since you'll have only 1 partner for this swap, your partner will receive all 3 of your lists. And oh! please note the date for each list (what's a documented day without a date?).

Since this swap isn't specific to the profile of your partner, you can actually start making your lists as soon as you sign up if you'd like.

As the year-end approaches with its various holidays and commitments, things often get crazy and busy, but this swap will give you a chance to share some of your days in a low-pressure way.

AND it gives us a happy chance to reverse the dynamic of to-do lists!
