July (Electronic) Tarot Reading

This is the 8th of a series of Tarot readings our group will do for 2017. When most public (and some private) rituals take place, the third altar we usually approach after we travel around the circle North, East, South, West and turn toward the Center. For this reading, we use the West as our prompt. The Priestess who stands in the West invokes that sunset energy as well as the energy of Water.

Like the rituals we do both inside our homes or in community spaces, one work we do is to recognize our love for people in our lives. And of course, with relationships, there comes bitter tastes with the sweet.

If we are indeed "to keep the silence," then we must learn the value of our inner silences.

This is an electronic swap, so we invite all members from around the great green Earth to join us.

Get into your sacred space. Take your entire favorite deck, shuffle and cut three times to the left. Then from the top of your shuffled deck, pull off the first card. YES, just one card will tell it all for the month of July regarding how we are to call energy into ourselves. It means you, as the reader need to do a lot of sensing, looking and interpreting of this card. You don't need a book to give you the meaning. Just look at it and tell your partner what is there.

Tell your partner what you see in the card that represents what they need to be a part of this world. It is such an interesting journey. Simply share what you see and sense in the one card you drew for your partner.

When I did this reading for myself, I drew the Ace of Chalices. The card shows a young woman standing with a mandala in the background, frogs and flowers, and drinking heartedly from the Chalice. My take is that if this card represents her relationships & new beginnings, she is fully open to be recepetive in her relationships, and anything else she draws to her life.

As a Priestess invoking the Element of WATER, one might call in personal energy to forgive others & herself. She might open to the circle of energy that flows in our relationships at the beginning to its end.

If you participate in this monthly series, you may want to keep the readings all together and let them form patterns. If you drop in for one or two during the year, you will get another kind of pattern. Here is where we trust the divine messages.
