For this swap you are going to think outside the box and send your partner something "unusual"...something not the norm. What do I mean? I've received a Toms candy container before, I've mailed a pair of flip flops, 1 at a time, and once I sent a piece of plastic AstroTurf mounted on cardboard as a "putting green" postcard. I've also sent plastic bottles a plenty and plastic medicine bottles filled with happy goodies. And here are a few more ideas of things that have been successfully mailed by others before... A flip flop A frisbee A coke bottle filled with mail goodies A potato A piΓΒ±ata A plastic ball A plastic pigeon A coconut A medicine bottle filled with goodies You get the idea, anything goes, just be sure to mail it naked meaning slap postage and an address on the item itself, don't use a box or mailing envie! This is SENDERS CHOICE. These unusual items sometimes take longer to navigate the postal system so please allow ample time before asking for a resend. I WILL angel if needed, though in this group I know that is rarely ever needed! I am making this a USA only swap since postal regulations vary between countries. For US participants, I can say the usual cost for me is less than 3.00 USA if I stay under 2 oz. (I've never personally mailed a coconut so I'm thinking postage may be closer to 6-9.00 on something that heavy.) |
