PS Theme A Day Journal

Each participant will create a Theme A Day Journal for their partner.

We will each keep a journal for a maximum of one month. Each day we will choose a Theme to use for that days entry. There is no particular order that the themes must be done in but must have completed all 31 themes. Suggest that in the front there be an index as to what page represents what Theme.

The journal can be handmade or store bought but please make sure that it is of quality so it does not fall apart.

Entries should be hand written but it is understandable if each entry is not.

Themes:

• fill entire page with cirlces and color them in

• create simple instructions for every day task (washing face, making a cup of tea, etc)

• make a list of everything that you would buy with a million dollars

• write your grocery list

• write an entry in code

• physically alter a page

• list / draw the items in your purse

• write down a secret and cut it up then glue randomly onto the page (or use cut letters from a magazine to make secret)

• list 10 habits (or all if you have less than 10)

• make a list of eveyrthing you buy for the next week

• write using a different medium (makers / crayons / charcoal, etc)

• draw individaul pieces of favorite outfit

• write about relationship with household appliance (washer / dishwasher / toaster, etc)

• write an entry following the edge of the page

• make rubbings of flat textured items

• collage your favorite things (with words or drawings)

• make a list of 5 things that you can do or already do to help the enviorment

• what does your family do for your birthday

• list 15 things to do when you are bored

• write instructions to make your favorite sandwich

• if you won the lottery what would you do

• what part of the newspaper do you read first

• make a cd of your favorite songs ~ write song list in journal

• list favorite crafts

• write instructions to favorite craft

• take a picture of everything you wear for a week

• list everything you cook for a week

• page of doodling

• fill a page of random facts about you

• glue in a scrap of paper (receipt, junkmail, magazine clipping etc.) and journal around and about it

• fill a page with four letter words

• favorite icecream
