I haven't done this in a while. I think I could do better with my water intake. So, please join me! During October, track your fluid intake. Let's shoot for drinking the number of ounces equal to half our current body weight in pounds. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, you would drink 75 ounces. You'll track your intake on any tool of your choosing: a calendar, tracking tool, app, etc. You'll be sending your partner a message mid-month (October 13 to 17), reporting on your progress. At the end of the swap, you'll send your tracking tool and a letter indicating how you did, what you learned and how you'll continue, or won't, with this very healthy habit. Please include a small flat item of your choosing for your partner. RESOURCES 1) Ideas to help you incorporate water in various ways: LINK 2) A printable tool you can use to track your water intake: LINK Note: this tool has eight glasses on it. You'll have to figure out how many ounces per glass meets your goal, based on your weight. Based on the previous example: 75 ounces divided by 8 is equal to almost 9 1/2 ounces. So each glass on this chart for someone weighing 150 pounds would be 9 1/2 ounces. I'm making this swap a Type 3 because there is work involved in tracking and drinking all this water. |
