TCHH: Week of Happy Envies :) December

UPDATE!!! :) UPDATE!! :) I have the due date earlier than usual for this swap, so that everyone can have their envies by Christmas. This is NOT a Christmas theme month, but it sure could be if you like! Totally up to the sender. I just thought it would be nice to be able to open them by your tree or special chair, or wherever your special place is!!

I have been hosting this swap for, well, I can't remember it's been so long, and every single month is a joy!! I love making up my envies as much as I love opening them! I pray for each one of us during the month, so if you have any specific requests, please shoot me a message.

If you haven’t joined in yet, I promise if you do, you will be blessed!! It is so much fun to think about your partner opening up a happy envie that you have made just for her! And it is also fun to see what your partner chose for you!

For this swap, you will decorate or make 7 envelopes for your partner. *** Feel free to get creative with what an "envelope" is! Anything goes! Fabric, folders, fun paper... anything :) ***

In each, you will put a surprise for them that will bring a smile to their face and add something for them to read .

Here are some examples of what you could send: an encouragement card & a small cross

an inspirational short story with a small profile surprise

a crossword or word search puzzle with an inspiring quote

instructions for a craft and a scripture

a recipe for food, a homemade cleaner or natural beauty recipe

a bookmark with a list of Christian books

a postcard with a letter about the place or picture if you've visited it and a scripture

a note from you with a tea bag

a magnet and words to a beloved hymn

OR If your partner enjoys tea, send her a different tea bag for each day along with something else (note, recipe...) Send a note for each of the days with a little something to do (enjoy a walk outside, enjoy looking at your photo album with family...) & a quote along with a little treat.

You could do a theme. If your partner loves flowers, you could send a seed packet each day along with inspiring quotes about flowers and decorate the envies with a flower theme.

The point of this swap is to have a week of happy envies to open. It is sender's choice. But read your partner's profile and try to put a smile on her face.

Be generous and thoughtful in what you create and send. This swap is not about the amount of money that you put into it. It is about the thoughtfulness of the envies you send. Have fun!! :) SOOOOO much good info up there!! : )
