Bunnies, chicks, pretty hats, ducklings, eggs, ribbons, Easter parade and colors everywhere are how I see the day and what inspires me to create a happy Easter decorated envelope. Please join me in this swap and mail your decorated envelope to one (1) partner. Please include a small item inside, a few stickers, craft paper, ribbon, tape samples, etc, they can come from your supplies, you do not need to buy extra. It is nice if they are Easter prints or themed colors but that is NOT required. You don't have to be a great artist although drawings are welcome, any medium or mix is acceptable as long as true effort is made. Pens, colored pencils, markers, paint, decoupage, stencils, stamped images, pasted elements, doodles, embellishments or stickers combined with other elements use your imagination. The design is up to you and please remember to include the swap name and yours. If you have never decorated an envelope think wow, as long as there is room for the address and you can put the stamp/return address in the proper pace you are good. You are not required to decorate the back but a seal, pretty tape, a sticker or something small to finish that side is nice too. I will allow new unrated swap-bot participants to join with a filled out profile. Personal hint- sometimes if my decorations seem a bit fragile for the mail, I reuse a clear plastic bag (one that came on something like stickers), slip the envelope into it and seal the sides with tape to the size of the envelope. I add the stamp to the outside so it may be properly cancelled - this is NOT necessary for flat artwork, which most will be |
