Swap Coordinator:TeaNi (contact)
Swap categories: Food
Number of people in swap:2
Location:International
Type:Type 2: Flat mail
Last day to signup/drop:December 6, 2008
Date items must be sent by:December 10, 2008
Number of swap partners:1
Description:

Traditional Christmas colors are red, green, and white (here in the US at least). So for this swap, we will send each of our 2 partners a Christmas card (storebought or handmade fine) and include 3 bags of tea: one redbush (rooibus), one white, and one green. No black or "herbal" teas for this swap.

Simple enough, right? No requests, please, as this should be a quick turnover swap and senders should be able to fulfill from what they already have on hand in their tea boxes. If you don't like something you receive you can always pass it along to a friend. If you do not like receiving Christmas cards or red, white, or green teas, this swap is probably not for you.

This swap is open to all members of the More tea for me group, so it is International. Postage should be minimal. I will scan through participants at swap closing to look for red flags, and I will ban at my discretion. Please do not join if you do not intend to send by the deadline, if you have many or recent unexplained 1's, or if you currently have outstanding late swaps you are working on.

I hope this will be an inexpensive, easy way to bring some cheer and yummy teas to our mailboxes this Christmas!

Oh, what a great idea! I'm so sorry, I'm overcommitted with my swaps and the system does not allow me to join, but oh how happy I would be to participate!... {she cries}

This is a great idea and I wish I could join! My mother is coming to visit for a few days, though, and the send-by is for when she is here so I doubt I could get to the post office to mail them. Sorry. :-( What about a Red & White tea swap for Valentine's Day?

@Krazyquilts I love that idea, thanks! I will put it on my calendar to set one up after Christmas!!!:) I understand... the swaps I've hosted this month haven't had many participants... I'm chalking it up to everyone being busy and budgeting for Christmas, so, hopefully some Valentines swaps will generate more interest!:)
