For the second letter in the series, I’d like for you to...

Tell me about your culture

I’m from West Virginia so I’ll be talking about Appalachian culture. Food, family, festivals, holidays, music, values—anything! I’m so interested in the different cultures just inside the US, let alone different countries. How exciting! I hope we can learn more about another’s culture through this swap and earn a new appreciation for doing so. What do you think? Are you in?

  • You will have one partner.

  • To your partner, please write or type one letter, minimum 2 pages in length.

This swap is international and open to swappers who are in good standing. No recent poor ratings.

This swap is open to newbies with a well filled profile. Swappers with a blank or inadequately filled profile will not be allowed to participate in the swap.

If you have any questions, feel free to message me or leave a comment below.

I hope you consider joining!

Swap happy,

must we write of where we live now or can it be where we grew up?

CaseyErin 03/ 8/2019 #

You certainly can write about where you grew up. That is your culture as well— a part of how you were raised. I say go for it.

Do we have eachothers as partners? As in, the person im writing to, do they have me too? :) or does eveyone have one random?

CaseyErin 03/12/2019 #

Partners are generated at random by the site. You will write to one person and a different person will write to you. Hope that helps.

@TeaAndCrackers I often write a second letter or make a copy of my original letter, and send it to the partner who sent to me. We're not partners either way, but if you want, I could send you one, too! And you could send me one! I'd be happy to send to more than one person.
