Edit: Since no one signed up for this swap with the original dates, I'm changing the dates and pushing it back! The first round for this swap was started in April, for National Poetry month. I plan to continue the series through the year, and this is round 2. This will be a series of swaps and you may join as many or as few as you wish. If you join them all, you should have a nice collection of poems to add to your journal or binder. :) You will have 1 partner, and the swap is International. It will be lightweight, to keep postage costs down, and is a type 2 swap. The original idea for this swap came from a swap hosted by @draco in a group that has since closed. For this swap, you will choose 3 poems that you enjoy. They may be poems you have written, old favorites from childhood, something you were 'forced' to read in school and stuck in your mind, or something you stumbled across online and liked. Each poem should include the title and author of the poem. Please give credit where credit is due. :) Each poem should be on a separate piece of paper, but it can by handwritten or typed. The page can be decorated or plain - it's up to you. Pages may be folded neatly to fit into a standard envelope, but if you are able to mail flat, that is fine too. Please include the swap name and your swap-bot ID on a separate slip of paper, and not on the pages of the poem. This swap is sender's choice. Keep the poems "PG" as much as possible - unless you OK a more adult theme with your partner before sending. The presentation and level of decoration is up to the sender. Please don't rate down if the swap you receive isn't decorated. I want us all to have a chance to share some of our favorite poetry. :) If you have any questions please send me a PM and I will reply as soon as I am able. :) Note: Memorial Day is the last Monday of May in the USA, and no mail is processed or delivered that day. The days following are always a bit sluggish as well. I'm allowing a few extra days for mailing. |
