What I Have Learned

I love zines.

They are art and they are personal. And if art isn't personal. what good is it?

They are wide-open, which appeals to my old hippie, anarchistic side. Anything goes!

They communicate. I love the line from "Cheers" - "where everybody knows your name." I believe every one of us has a deep need to know and to be known.

Anyway... What have you learned?

Please make a zine that tells us.

Whether it is a major life lesson thoroughly explained or a series of vignettes, or even, I suppose, some quotes that are meaningful to you; let us know what you have learned (or are learning) on your journey on this beautiful planet.

PS Even though the tone of this description is oh so serious, your zine doesn't have to be.

Standard six page minizine format. Or not, if you want to mix it up a little. Be creative, be honest, have fun.
