Each participant will list 10 food words that relate to the sorts of foods they like in the comment section below. Examples are: sour, chilli, chocolate, festive, salty etc etc. It all depends on your personal tastes.

When partners are assigned you will check the words your partner has listed and send one food item for five of the words. You may send more if you'd like to. Be creative but make sure to stick to the words your partner has selected. As this is within Australia only it would be great if you could find items from other culture stores, specialty stores or delis, things like that would offer a bit of variety. This is not required of course. Please also list if you have any allergies or dislikes.

Open to anyone in the group. You must have listed your words before sign up ends otherwise i will ban you.

If you have any questions feel free to ask otherwise have fun!

Mint, chocolate, salty, garlic, strawberry, Japanese, rice, gourmet, orange, caramel.

I would have put tea, but it's not really a food-flavour!

Dislikes - ginger, cherries, mango.

I think I shall wait until the weather is a little cooler before sending my planned package - things might melt!! We should get some cooler weather before the deadline in March :-)

I think that is good advice for all of us nifwlseirff :) If you are planning on sending any chocolate or other items that will suffer under high temperatures maybe plan carefully when youpost it and keep your eye on the weather.

I will be shopping and sending when the weather gets cooler too :o)

Thanks smokeandmirrors - I received your package yesterday. It might have been still a little too warm for posting chocolate! My friends should enjoy the ginger-chai chocolate if it's still ok (haven't opened it yet).

Ozrob - I'll wait until sometime in March, and hopefully we will have weather that is under 22 degrees before I send my package!

Ozrob - I have just sent your parcel, please let me know when it arrives! grin
