The original host of this swap series @LauRad83 hasnโ€™t been around Swap Bot in quite a while so this swaps hasnโ€™t happened in several months. Since Laura isnโ€™t here to continue this series Iโ€™m going to step in and host them for now. With that being said letโ€™s get these notebooks moving again!

Here is @LauRad83 โ€˜s description of the swap:

If you have a book from the previous swap fill out and send it to your partner. For new participants read below.

To start, find a light soft cover book with about 30 pages. The book should be no larger than A5. Travelers notebook inserts would be perfect.

The first person starting the book will decorate the cover however they choose, wallpaper, wrapping paper, anything you like.

Inside the front cover write your name, address (so the book is returned when it is full) swap name and your swap-bot name.

On a page or 2 write abit about your day, you location, something about the weather. You may decorate the page if you wish. Add a photo, a drawing if you wish and tape in with washi or staple. Use only pens that do not bleed onto the next page please. Don't forget to date your entry. You may add something separate for your partner if you wish, a pen pal intro letter or something else related to their likes, but you don't have to. Also write your swapbot id so you can be rated

When you are done with your page send the book onto your partner.

That partner will then wait for the next swap in this series and fill out their page(s) and send on to their partner and so on.

Once the book is full the last person to write in the book will send it to the owner of the book, and start a new book

The whole process then starts again.

At the end when your book is returned to you, you will have a book full of stories from around the world.

Some have asked before if they can make a book. Yes you can if you want to. But make sure it is fairly thin, max 50 pages to write on and no bigger than A5 size. Think about the weight of the book and the cost of sending it around the world. Be creative.

Please allow plenty of time to receive and send the book. This swap will take commitment to subsequent swaps in this series. If you don't plan on continuing with later swaps please don't join. I'm sorry but this is supposed to be fun. I enjoy hearing from different people around the world ๐Ÿ˜Š as I'm sure many others do too.

I plan to do one of these every month so there should be plenty of time to send and receive. Hopefully none of these books get lost on their journey.

Newbies are welcome to join this swap with a well filled out profile (we all had to start somewhere)

Any questions please message me

Please keep the books to A5 or smaller and no heavy hardcover books please. Be considerate of others who will have to pay for postage to send the book in each round.

Hi! I missed the last one for this- but if anyone has mine currently I need to change my address. We're moving unexpectedly and I was wondering if someone would be able to place a different address on my info page for me?

I haven't gotten my swap from round 6 yet. i know the send by date hadn't passed yet, but I can't sign up for this one until I get the last one. โ˜น๏ธ

I wonder if anyone has my notebook - Agnieszka from Poland?

USAFwife 12/ 1/2019 #

Did you change the dates for this swap? I thought sign up ended on Dec 1st? Now it shows the 14th.

cmalaina 12/ 1/2019 #

I still have not received mine either so does that mean I can just start a new one or should I wait to get it

USAFwife 12/ 2/2019 #

@cmalaina check to see if your partner has sent yet & give the mail time to get to you. I was told to see if my partner had sent, and to sit out a round if the notebook had not been received by sign up.

satinification 12/ 3/2019 #

@cmalaina - The dates have been moved forward so you may still receive it on time. It's already December. The mail is overloaded due to Christmas. I know from experience that international mail can travel up to several months, but hopefully it will take less time :) If your partner sent on time, you can do nothing but wait.

Sorry for not answering yaโ€™lls questions. I donโ€™t get notifications or email that people left a comment so I didnโ€™t realize.

cmalaina 12/16/2019 #

I rather not miss out at all so I will just start a new one @USAFwife @satinification I love seeing different ways people write.

@cmalaina What happens to the book you will eventually receive if you start a new book though ... wouldnโ€™t there be an extra?
