Bust out those magazines and junk mail - it's time to make a gluebook! Being 100% honest, I've made gluebooks for years but had no idea that's what they were called! If you aren't clear on what a gluebook is, check out this article: https://mixedmedia.club/what-is-a-gluebook/ Gluebooks are a lot like Magpie Journals in that the stuff that you use to decorate the pages aren't necessarily valuable goods, but the difference is that with the gluebook, most of the page is covered in collage. So here's what you do: Gather a bunch of magazine pages, ephemera, junk mail, etc. and your favorite glue (Mod Podge isn't recommended as it generally causes pages to stick together no matter how long you let it dry). Then just start gluing stuff on pages in the way that looks good to you! (It's a great stress reliever!) For this swap, the journal size is up to you, and it can be either handmade or purchased. You're going to decorate 20 pages (1 side=1 page). The page should be almost completely covered with text or images. And there's no theme to this one - just go crazy! This swap is US Only, but I am posting an International one as well. This isn't partner specific, so you can start right now! If you have any questions, please feel free to message me. As always, have fun! |
