Description:

This swap is designed to share your mental health story with someone. I've been having a rough time lately and I feel like this could help a couple of people to connect with others and to talk about their mental health in a safe and sympathetic environment.

Feel free to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. But it's very important to include a trigger warning* with your letter. The topics can include anything from your personal mental health story (past/present), to the story of a close one that's had an impact on you, to your favorite ways of selfcare, to anything you want to share in the means of your mental health.

You can include a little profile-based something for your partner and decorate the paper and envelope. Reply to your partner's letter if you want to. All this is optional and not required.

Requirements:

  • Send your partner a letter about your mental health story that's at least one page (around A5/half letter size, front + back), handwritten if you can.
  • You need a rating of at least 4.98 with no unexplained/recent 1s or 3s! I will check all participants and ban people to my discretion. I'll angel if necessary.
  • Don't forget to include a lil note with the name of the swap + your username.

Please comment below or message me if you have any questions/concerns/etc.

Happy Swapping!

* a note that roughly states the (potentially triggering) topics of your letter, e.g. depression, suicide, mental hospital, medication, abuse etc. Contact me if you're unsure about this or want me to tell your partner about your triggers explicitely.

@Nevi2018 I don’t know. I can’t host an USA exclusive one, but you could.

Around this time, two years after receiving my original depression diagnosis, I learned that I had colon cancer. In addition to giving me yet another unforeseen challenge in life, cancer gave me the opportunity to observe how society views physical and mental illness quite differently. Then I discovered mental health solutions, which provided me with excellent care. My recuperation was promoted at no expense to me by the lovely folks at this station, who gave me a lot of assistance and support.

Thanks for sharing your story. I agree with you that there are now a lot of elements that I can upset. As a result, need to keep an eye on your mental health and keep it in good shape. I resolved to seek assistance from us.calmerry.com. Often this is just a lifeline for me, especially in those moments when I feel that I cannot cope on my own.
