Description:

InCoWriMo is a bit of a letter writing challenge to celebrate 'vintage social media' and I look forward to it each year. :) What better than to celebrate letters and writing? :) You can learn more about it by clicking the link above. So far the page is sparse, but as we get closer to February 1st, there will be more details. You don't have to follow the page or sign up for their email list to do this swap, but if you want more information, please have a look. :)

InCoWriMo is an acronym for INternational COrrespondence WRIting MOnth. :) The idea is to hand write a letter each day for the month of February. (Very Similar to the Write On Challenge in April)

For this swap, you will have up to 3 partners and you will write them each a letter. You don't HAVE TO hand write the letter, if you prefer to type, but the idea is for hand writing the letter. I"m not going to be picky with you guys. :) The length of the letter should be more than just a few paragraphs, but I'm not going to assign a page length. Just feels like too much of a school assignment. :/ And the paper you write on is up to you - it doesn't have to be stationery. This really is just for fun. :)

What to write in the letter? If you have never swapped or messaged with your partner, you can introduce yourself. If you've swapped with the person, you can write a more personal letter. Tell them what you are reading, or what you think of swaps like this, what you plan to do for the month or year, it's up to you.

If you really want to do the full month of letters, you'll need more than just this swap. :) It could be a good time to write a note to your favorite aunt or your childhood best friend, or catch up on an old 'to reply' letter. :) We can also start a thread in the forum for those looking for others to write to, if you'd like. Just ask. :)

As always if you have any questions, please send me a PM.

Happy Writing! :)
