How many Germans you need to change a lamp? One. They are effective and do not understand humor. How to make an Italian shut up? Tie up their hands Two Finns were sitting at the lake and fishing. Neither said anything until one of them dropped the fish he had caught and quietly said "oh." The other one went home and complained how loud his friend had been. Englishman, Scotsman and Irishman went to the bar.... I love good jokes and haven't seen any swaps of this kind so here we go... Take a card (note card or postcard if it is big enough) Write two jokes on it: One joke about your own country / nation. It can be either be something you joke about yourselves or something you have heard other nations joke about you. One joke about another nation. Be it that "special best neighbor" we all have or the nation of your partner or just any you have heard and thought it was funny. Send the card to your partner to share the good laugh. Simple as that, but... Do not use jokes based on hateful or racistic stereotypes or horrible events. There is difference between good humor with giving a bit of joyful nod at your neighbors, and being just rude. Laugh with them, not at them Newbies are welcome with well filled profile. Otherwise no recent or large amount of unexplained 1s and 3s. I will angel if necessary. This one is the international version of this swaps, but for friends in Europe there is also regional swap available. |
