Description: | |
Look through any magazines, catalogs, etc and find a picture that will fit on a postcard. This is not a collage, it's one picture that you find that's about the size of a postcard. Cut-n-paste the picture onto a piece of cardboard, the inner 4x6" cardboard you cut out to make the frame guide. or old cereal boxes, or heavy cardstock. I like to cut out a 4x6' hole in a piece of larger cardboard, then use the frame as a guide, framing the magazine image to see if it's suitable. Regional: North America: USA and Canada You will be assigned one partner. Send the postcard with a short note on the back. I like to write where I got the cut-out picture from (as well as a short greeting). Include your swap-bot ID and name of the swap on the postcard. I'm open to private swaps with people in good standing that have old low-ratings that they've tried to resolve. Contact me. --------------------------Important administration stuff: Nudge I send out nudge 'please rate' messages around the 2-week mark after everyone has mailed their cards. Please, no serial nudging, it makes my hosting job harder. Rate quickly so it doesn't end up forgotten in a pile of postcards. If you haven't received a postcard around the one month mark, let me know. Blank comments When rating please comment on the card received. Let's make our partners feel like their postcard matters. So please, no blank comments. If you have a hard time thinking about what to write here's an example: Thank you for {describe the item}. It brightened my day...Thank you for the Van Gogh sunflower postcard. It brightened my day. Finished I check to see that everyone is rated and will add a "Finished" stamp to the Discussion section when all postcards are sent, received and rated.
