WIYM: Profile Surprise Package (USA)

This swap is for an inexpensive profile surprise package🎁. It's a fun chance to go shopping for someone else and KNOW that they'll absolutely love what you get them and be excited by the surprise.

Because of shipping costs and delays internationally with the COVID-19 pandemic, this particular swap is USA only.

Here are the rules:

Before partners are assigned:
In order for it to BE a surprise, and give your partner the fun of a real shopping experience, please double-check your profile and make sure you have lots of options for themes and types of items you'd love to receive that are priced up to $7.

Once partners have been assigned
🧐You will go to your partner's profile page and do some in-depth research. Read the whole profile. Is there a link to Etsy favorites or other wishlists? Check these out to see what kinds of things your partner likes for inspiration. Diligently regard and avoid any dislikes. Now, you get to go shopping for your partner! The item(s) you choose should total $5-$7 BEFORE shipping costs. If you're buying online rather than in a local shop, you can often get a bargain on shipping if you buy more than one thing from the same seller. Online sellers will often agree to ship directly to your partner, and add a note if you request it.

If you are shipping direct to your partner from a third party: Please let your partner know once you've paid and their package is shipped, and also if more than one parcel is expected, though you can keep the items themselves a surprise.

In order to receive a 5, you must send an item or items totaling at least $5-$7 before shipping which are directly inspired by your partner's profile interests and/or wishlists. Items should be new, not used. Because value is subjective, I'm going to say NO handmade items from yourself in this particular swap (I will have other swaps for that). Items must be sent by the swap send-by date, and you should let your partner know when they've shipped if you're using a third party to ship them. Be sure to include a note with your name, your partner's name, and the name of this swap. You aren't required to wrap the gift 🎁(though that would be extra-sweet), but please be sure it's packaged in a manner such that it will not be harmed in transit.

Please rate anyone a 5 as long as they meet these criteria. ❤️Hearts❤️ are, of course, at your own discretion.

There will be plenty of time to update your profile and/or wishlists before partner assignment, and ten days to shop once partners have been assigned; please do not sign up if you can't make your purchase and ship it out by the send-by date.

All group members maintain well-filled-out profiles and meet the requirement of at least a 4.98 rating to join. In the extremely unlikely event that it's necessary, I will angel this swap after you have attempted to contact your partner and honestly rated a "1" for a no-send.
