Hello friends!!! My name is Mackenzie, I have been a member here for a little while, and I think my time to step up on the plate has come!!!!!!! For this swap, each participant will be assigned 2 partners. So, for this swap, we are going to be putting together a scavenger hunt for our partners! It is super easy to do: 1) Brainstorm a list of generic household items (toothbrush, towel, ladle, etc). The theme is “Inside Our Castles” 2) From that list, choose 7-14 items you want your partner to find. Write them down/type them on a nice piece of paper and decorate it! 3) Add a prize for your partners completion (an enamel pin, a patch, anything that fits in a flat envelope. 4) Decorate the exterior of your envelope. I want this to be a super fun swap for everyone, so please only sign up if you are in good standings with the community. I will be checking profiles and reviews to weed out scammers. Newbies are more then welcome! At this point in time, I am unable to angel, but if anyone is willing to angel if someone flakes PM me!!! This is my very first time hosting and organizing a swap, so feedback is truly important for me. Hi! Congrats for being a first time Host. I have a question for task #2 and #3.

So we mail them a list, with that list we mail a flat surprise? How do we know when they find all on the list? What do we do then? we have already mailed the flat surprise at this point.

Please clarify. I am just having a hard time wrapping my head around this

Hi Hyshu!!! Thank you for you question, feedback is the only way I’m going to improve! So, basically what I was thinking, was that the flat surprise you include in your envelope could either be put in a smaller envelope or wrapped. I cant think of a way to ensure that your partners do the scavenger hunt prior to opening the surprise, so it will have to be on a trust basis.

Its just supposed to be a fun ask for everyone to do inside. Do you have any ideas as to how this could be improved? I’m all ears!

I have to say, I really like this idea! I had a lot of fun planning my lists for my partners. Such a fun challenge! Thank you for creating this swap.
