Altered Playing Card Swap

Oh thank you Kimbeewa for doing this swap. I hosted a couple last year and thoroughly enjoyed them, but I'm not hosting any more and I've been waiting for someone to do this again.

Why is it in the bookmark swap category though?!!!

I am having issues with my home computer and I can't get the swap catagories to display...It's really making me nuts! I'll edit it when I get on my work computer tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone would notice :-)

how do you alter card? glue? can it be lamanited? This sounds like fun but I have never done it. Please advise

Do whatever you want to it as long as a number and suit is still showing. Like in the example in the swap description. Let your creativity go wild!

Too fun! I made one, went back and read the directions and made another. Ooops, for a teacher, I don't follow directions very well. I had to go back and make a third. They say that teachers make the worst students! :-)

And doctors make the worst patients! You've got to make 3 anyway @maestraw ... one for each of 3 partners. Never mind, the more you make, the better you become at it!

I have made ATCs using playing card but never a card that is APC. Can you use embellishments like brads, eyelets, and fibers?

alteredtome....yes, you can use anything as long as you can see what card it was. Have fun!

I have used playing Cards for my back before to!! but never left any of it showing. This sounds like a lot of fun and a good idea!! Cant wait to create!!

I'm a newbie here. I had a question. Do you ever seen the person's ATCs anywhere on this group? Do you post your blog page or anything like that?

Im very glad you are doing this swap! I bought a deck of cards to make one ATC and now I have so many lying around and I need to make ATC's out of them! This is going to be so much fun, I look forward to receiving some too!

Clarian, the gallery hasn't worked since I joined last summer. It would be so nice to be able to see people's altered cards. Somethimes a flickr site is made but it is up to each individual to show their own card on their own flickr site unless the host makes one for us all. I have no idea how that is done.

I have a question. Now can we decorate the front and back of the card or just the side withthe number on it?

I moved to the watch list because I am new too making ATC making.

• Just decorate the side with the number on it
• Since the photo gallery doesn't work, you'd have to check out someone's flickr if they had it to see any of their work.
• I think Joker's would be fine to use.
