INTERNATIONAL!!!

CROCHETERS ONLY.....SORRY KNITTERS!!!

I am making this an international swap since postage to mail 1 granny square won't be much no matter where you send it:)

You will send one 12" granny square to 2 partners. I plan on making this a monthly swap, so the color this month will be VARIGATED. You can use one varigated yarn to make the entire square, or you can combine it with another coordinating color, but it MUST have varigated yarn somewhere in the square. You can also use any pattern you want to use as long as your square measures 12" when completed. Ofcourse, you can always send along an extra square, a pattern or some little extra surprise to shoot for hearts:)

Everyone's welcome to join as long as you have atleast a 4.8 rating with no no-sends in the past 6 months. Newbies welcome with a fully filled out profile.

I am planning on angeling for this swap unless we have so many flakers I can't handle it alone. In which case I will help find angels if needed. Hope that won't be the case though!! If anyone flakes in this swap they will not be welcome in any future swaps I host!!

I have added this to my watch list sounds fun. I just sending out my first swaps so I also will wait until I get a few swaps under my belt. What a good way to use up all them small balls of yarn that once bought I just cannot part with. What fiber will you be using?

We all need to use 4-ply worsted weight yarn for these squares. I think it would be better if all of us use the same type of yarn. I should have been more clear on this in the listing:)

Watching.. Would love to do this one. Just need a little clarification on the 4 ply worsted weight yarn. Cotton preferable? Acrylic? Wool? Just need to make sure, don't want to disappoint.

knitgnat....I guess any 4-ply worsted weight yarn will be fine as long as it's machine washable. Cotton I don't think would be too good to use with acrylic or wool blend because the cotton will shrink while the other yarns won't shrink as much. Does anyone else have some input on this? This is just my opinion. I feel like acrylic and wool blend would be the best to use together, but I've never used other types of yarn mixed with these. If anyone has had experience with mixing the different types of yarn in one a piece of work please let us know what you think:)
