Michigan Mittens

Lower Michigan is shaped like a mitten. Upper Michigan is shaped like a rabbit.

When someone asks you where you're from how often do you lift up one of your hands and point to where you live?

Let's use our talent to make Michigan Mittens.

You can use any objects you like.....paper, yarn, felt, actual mittens! Decorate your shapes! Be creative and try to be mindful of your partner's likes and dislikes.

Once you've made your Michigan shape be sure to PLACE A STAR WHERE YOU LIVE and send a small note telling your partner the name of your city and three things about it! They can be facts or opinions, three things you like about it or even three things you hate about it!

Be nice to your partner, let them know if you'll be late. Send only neat and nice things. You've got seven weeks to send, let's put some effort into it!

A Star on your hometown/where you live

A note/postcard with three things about your town/The name of your town
