Hi, I recently finished two journal swaps this month! Yay me! But, I’m craving to do more journaling!! My inspiration to create this swap came from (www.magenta-sky.com/online-courses/30-day-sketchbook-challenge/). All art skill levels are welcome to join this swap, however please note that this is a “novice swap,” so you may not have a partner that has the talent of Leonardo da Vince. This swap does require effort and commitment, so I recommend not joining if you can’t meet swap deadline. Here are the details: For this swap, the mediums you may use are: any type of paint (acrylic, watercolor, etc), charcoal, crayon, oil pastel, colored pencils, pen and pencils. You may use a combination of mediums mentioned above. This is not a paper collage/sticker slapped, pasting type of journal and may not be used at all in your journal. Your journal may be handmade or store bought, but it must be at least “3.5 x 5.5” (think pocket notebook, field notes..) or bigger with at least 30 pages. If you do use a journal with more than 30 pages, you will only have to fill 30 pages. You will doodle on the front side of the page, back side is totally optional. At the top of each of your journal page, you will write the title of the prompt (i.e. #1 or Day 1: Describe yourself in doodle form). At the bottom of each of your journal page, you will write a short/brief sentence of what you drew, so that your swap partner can better understand what you drew. Here are your doodle prompts that are required to be in your journal. Your doodles may be in any order, as long as it is somewhere in your journal. Try to limit words in your artwork and let your doodle do the talking! Describe yourself in doodle form (your hobbies, your personality, job, favorite food, etc.) A doodle of a mythical creature A funny joke/pun in a cartoon style A doodle of something you can find in a forest How are you feeling today? Coffee-themed doodle page Describe beauty in doodle form. What brings you joy? One of your 2021 goals A doodle of your favorite holiday An ocean themed/nautical doodle page It’s springtime! What’s your favorite outdoor activity? A doodle of your pet. Don’t have a pet, then, a pet animal you would like to have. What are you thankful for today? in doodle form A doodle of what you will do with your second 2020 stimulus check. Not qualified? What would you do if you did receive one? doodle some fruits with funny faces How do you distract yourself? Doodle something that begins with the letter “F.” Doodle things that are red and pink Something you can do with a pillow Turn your favorite words into a doodle Your happy place in doodle form 4 random things you saw this week Your “bucket list” in doodle form a doodle of something medieval (ie castle, king, queens, knights, etc) free-style doodle (a doodle of anything you’d like to draw!) free-style doodle (a doodle of anything you’d like to draw!) free-style doodle (a doodle of anything you’d like to draw!) free-style doodle (a doodle of anything you’d like to draw!) free-style doodle (a doodle of anything you’d like to draw!) |
