Hi swappers! Let's follow THIS tutorial to create 1 floating pocket for our partners. I had never heard the term 'floating pockets,' before; I'm assuming it refers to the fact that there are images 'floating' between the plastic. Please use clear plastic to create your pocket (sheet protectors, sticker sheet bags, etc.). If you can, please copy some images onto tracing paper/vellum for the 'floating' images, and include some inserts for the pocket. That said, don't jam your printer ;+) I have done this by taping vellum/tracing paper to a regular sheet of printer paper before running through my printer. This works with my HP printer--hope it will work with yours! If you can't sew your pocket, you can always use washi tape or strips of paper to seal the edges. If you use just glue, it shows through the plastic and doesn't look very nice, so either sew or cover the glued edges. Hope to see you in the swap! |
