For this swap you will make 3 envelopes for 1 person. Envelopes must be made from repurposed paper...ie maps, book pages, calendar pages, wrapping paper, magazine covers, etc. the point is to use something youβve been saving because you like the way it looks...this will give you an opportunity to use it! Each of the 3 items should be from a different paper source. The size of the envelopes should fall into USPS first class mailable sizes, meaning it must be at least 3-1/2 inches by 5 inches, and no more than 6-1/8 inches by 11β1/2 inches. If youβre using metric, that equals at least 88.9mm x 127mm, no more than 155.702mm x 285.75mm. If you need help making an envelope, here are some resources: Video showing how to make 3 simple envelopes Or just Google! There are lots of helpful and free resources out there! When youβve made your 3 envelopes, pack them up in another envelope, and DECORATE that packaging envelope with some more recycled papers! I like to use scraps of vintage book pages, scraps of maps, scraps of Kraft paper, etc. Then mail it all to your partner! If you have any questions, comment below! πππ |
