What is an artist trading card?

Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5″ x 3.5″. As a general rule, swaps are open to any media, materials or techniques as long as the card fits into a standard trading card sleeve.

Newbies.

You must be on the site for at least 2 months and have successfully completed at least one type 2 or one type 3 swap, and received a 5-rating.

You must log in to swap-bot at least the day before the swap closes.

Have a profile write-up of at least 10 lines of text that contains a little information about yourself, and generally what you like.

I will remove anyone that has:

• 1s and 3 ratings with no reasonable attempt to correct the issue
• Left blank comments or generic "Thank you" comments when rating someone
• Raises any concerns in previous swaps I've hosted, or when I check previous swapping history

Participants must be 18 years or older.

Newbies who have not been rated yet may request a private swap and I'll set something up. I like private newbie swaps so don't feel you can't ask.

Meaningful comments are expected. No blank comments. I want every participant to feel that their efforts were noticed. It helps if you provide a little description of what you've received. As a host I read all comments and live vicariously through you. 🙂
