Hello lovelies! This is a special swap for Paper Lovers Only! LoL! You can send whatever you want, but it should meet this minimum criteria: A total of 6 separate items (this is the MINIMUM) and 4 extras. (Keep in mind that the stationary set for example, is two sheets of paper minimum with a matching envelope, and that would count as one item, not threeโฆ) Vintage papers should be vintage- they should have the look and feel of old paper, even if they are less than 50 years old.. Book pages, photo pages from coffee table books, old photos, music pages. Yes yes and yessssssss. Notecards should be high quality cardstock with high quality envelopes, and should be unique and distinctive! Because of this requirement, most Dollar Tree note cards would NOT qualify for this swap because they are thin card stock and use thin, see-through envelopes. HOWEVER, if you have a great dollar tree notecard, you can add it... I love the DT notecard with the typewriter and the heart coming out of it, but I make my own envelopes for them as the envies totally suck. Stationary sets should be a matching set with at LEAST 2 sheets of matching stationary paper. These should be high quality sets that a fountain pen would not run through, or they should be very unique. Stationary paper: If you have a lovely stationary PAD with no matching envelopes, you must send a minimum of 4 sheets of the paper and make a matching envelope for the paper. Large Memo Sheets: Yes- but they have to have a unique look to them. Most dollar tree memo pads would not qualify for this swap. But if the paper is great quality and has embossing, laser cuts, or gold leaf, that sort of fancy finish- then definitely yes. Postcards: UNIQUE is the key word here, and the paper quality needs to be top notch. I actually love handmade PCs that are well made, sturdy, and ready to mail so you can make your own, but be careful-- if you are not a natural artist or good with collage, etc, just use store bought PCs. Things that count as Extras: Die cuts Stickers (go for sheets or nice higher end stickers like washi stickers or stickers with something special going on) Small/medium Memosheets (at least 10 sheets) or post-its that are super cool/adorable/unique page flags (send the complete set, not a few) Pens Washi Very ornate beautiful napkins Very unique paper- wrapping, craft, textured, velum, tissue, etc. Please package everything nicely so it is fun to open, and do not bend sheets of paper. Mail them FLAT. ** if you werenโt sure if some thing is good enough for this particular swap, You have only two options: add it as an extra and make sure you put it in a separate little package that says extras, or simply donโt add it. If you think itโs not unique enough, itโs probably not unique enough, so trust your instincts!! Include your SB name and the name of the swap on a handwritten note or letter. *REMINDER: if you don't have a LOVE for paper stuff, this may not be the right swap for you. This one is for paper lovers, by paper lovers, to ensure everyone is happy with their swap!! Thanks!!! |
