:: Super Kawaii Notebook FTW ::

I'm providing lots of time to work on this swap, as we all have very busy lives - but if a month isn't long enough for anyone we can extend the send-by date :3

We will each send our partner a hardcover notebook.. but not just ANY hardcover notebook, our notebooks will be altered - SUPER KAWAII STYLE!!

You'll need to buy a hardcover notebook (plain covered ones are around, but as you'll be decorating the cover it doesn't really matter if the one you buy already has a design on it - just make sure the pages are plain or ruled without any decoration)

Then you take that notebook and recreate the front and back covers to make them kawaii!! Use memo sheets, stickers, fabric, ribbons, brads, charms, wrapping paper, etc etc etc to make it into a one of a kind, super adorable, kawaii notebook for your partner ^-^

Don't just slap on a kawaii sticker and call it done, make it a small work of art that any kawaii fan would be proud to carry in their bag or display on their desk - look to your partner's profile for inspiration and get REALLY creative ----> but don't hold back from joining just because you feel you're not artistic, you could always cover it in hundreds of overlapping sticker flakes so it's like carrying around a big pile of kawaii stickers - omg how FUN would that look?!@ chortle :3

Do the pages too if you like - a well placed kawaii stamp in the corner of every page, or a couple of decorated divider pages with little tabs to make the notebook even more useful - why not? skips

You can pick up hardcover notebooks just about everywhere - the spiral bound ones are the best for altering as you only have to worry about the front and the back covers & you can easily add bookmarks or dangle charms on the binding loops ^-^

(Extras are always welcome and are kind to send, but do please do not base your rating for your partner on extras.)

:: Please Note :: This MUST BE KAWAII STYLE - no western characters like Strawberry Shortcake, Diddl, Littlest Pet Shop, etc! Refer to Renee's super awesome list in our forum if you're unsure of what constitutes a kawaii character, or take photos of what you're working on and email them to one of your group-mates for a second opinion ^-^
