Edited to add After working on one as a trial run and coming up with a complete sigh crafting fail, I wanted to add that this video is more for inspiration not duplication. That being said, make your pockets however youβre comfortable with. Adding paper to envelopes do make them a little bulky but I suppose that helps in keeping them down. Make sure when you put your paper on the flip up side your paper is not upside down (this was my fail) lol. So today I will try again. Once I get mine finished I upload to my Instagram page. If youβre there you can find me @deb_campbell04 Hope to see more of you join! Have you got some junk mail envelopes in your stash? I know I do & was looking for new ideas to use them in my junk journal. I found this video that Scrapbooking with Me did that turned out super cute!! Even if you donβt have junk mail envelopes you could use regular business or small envelopes to cascade. For our swap we will create one cascading pocket insert for our partner. Weβll have 4 pockets. Try to keep your size to at least 5.5β/6β long to fit a journal page. Fronts will need to be embellished, but keep the embellishments as flat as possible to keep mailing cost down. Put something flat in each pocket, journaling tag/washi samples/stickers/flat embellishments for your partner to use. It is senders choice of theme. This is a good project to use up your scrap paper stash. Everyone knows the rules of swapping in the CPG, so letβs have some fun with this. Any questions, message me. |
