Description:

For members of the (now closed) TBR group, you can share your monthly numbers here.

For July, I'm going to try combining the regular TBR swap with the statistics and the Unread Shelf monthly swap. If this doesn't work for you, please let me know!

If you would like to start keeping track of your TBR, please feel free to join! Just gather up all the books you have at home to read yet, count them up. Each month, refer to that list to fill out the table below and share you monthly progress. This is just a monthly reminder for us all to read the books we have on hand. It's up to you how you decide to do the challenge. :) Each month, we will have this swap - email only - and 3 partners, Internationally.

For TBR group members - (Copy & Paste to an email or format your own list.)

Monthly start book count:

books added this month:

books read this month (any book read, not restricted to TBR books only):

books DNF'ed (it was so terrible, you just couldn't finish it):

books unhauled (books you crossed off your list or discarded from your shelf:

monthly end book count:

end balance (+ or - the number):

For each monthly swap, the requirement will be to EMAIL your partners the above information. If you wish to attach a TBR list, spreadsheet or other, that's ok. If you wish, you can review your favorite read (or listen) of the month, but again, that's not required.

The suggested book for July - A book bought for the cover - OR - a book voted for you by Bookstagram (or other bookish community) But if you don't have a book on your TBR that fits that category, just choose any book from your TBR. That is the overall goal of the group and the project. :)

For any prompt in this series of swaps, you can choose either the first prompt (the 2021 Unread Shelf project prompt) OR the second prompt (the 2020 Unread Shelf project prompt) OR any book on your shelf. The goal is to read the books you have on hand. If the prompt helps you choose - great! But you don't have to use the prompt to join this series of swaps. Just read any book on your TBR.

After sign up ends and your partners are assigned, just send them an email (you can send the same email to all 3 partners, just be sure to use BCC to send the emails) with the book title and author and then just a few lines about

if you liked the book or not,

if you couldn't finish it, why did you decide not to finish it?

That's it! You don't have to write a book report or review - unless you want to. This swap and the series and the group is more about helping and supporting everyone to tackle the TBR lists than book reviews and recommendations. The categories for this year are as follows (but at any time, you can read ANY book on your TBR, even if it doesn't fit the category) The first prompt is 2021's listed prompt, the 2nd prompt is the 2020 listed prompt.

August - A book bought from an independent bookstore - OR - a buddy read

September - A book you want to learn from - OR - a book you’ve owned so long, you forgot where it came from

October - A book you’re secretly afraid of - OR - a book that scares you - in content or length

November - A book published before 2000 - OR - a book from your favorite genre

December - A book that reminds you of childhood. - OR - the shortest book on your shelf

You will EMAIL your swap partners the above information.

If you have ANY questions, Please PM me directly and I'll reply as soon as I can.
