Christmas Folded Pocket

For this swap you will use a 12 x 12” piece of scrapbook paper First cut a 4” wide strip of the paper, you will have a 12” long by 4” wide strip of paper. Next fold 5” from the bottom of the strip and make a crease When this is folded you will have a 2” flap to fold over for the closure You will either sew the sides together or glue the sides together to make an envelope The flap will be folded over to close the envelope. To embellish the flap you may put lace and a button or twine and a rhinestone This will be attached on one of the pages of our Christmas Journal To finish the swap , include some items that could be used on a journal page, such as ephemera, vintage Christmas tags, a hand made tag, etc Have fun!!
